I came to Heidelberg for my Masters degree and never wanted to leave. This city has layers — the romantic postcard version tourists see, and the real story underneath. I'm here to show you both. My tours are personal, honest, and genuinely fun.

How It Works

Three Steps to Heidelberg

1

Choose your tour

Pick a shared group tour (€27/person) or a private tour for just your group (€100, up to 5 people). Same route, same stories, different size.

2

Book online or email us

Use the booking calendar to pick your date — or email us directly. To lock in your spot you only pay a 50% deposit (fully refundable up to 24 hours before the tour) — not the full advance payment most other tours demand. Spots are first-come, first-served — whoever pays the deposit first gets the spot.

3

Meet at Alte Brücke

Find your guide at the Old Bridge — bring comfortable shoes, a camera, and your questions. We handle the rest.

Common Questions

Everything You Want to Know

The meeting point is at the monkey statue near the city gate of the Old Bridge in Heidelberg.
Light rain — the tour runs (bring a jacket; Heidelberg is beautiful in the rain). Heavy rain — you're welcome to reschedule to any other available date on the calendar, no questions asked.
Absolutely. All ages welcome — kids love the castle stories, the brass monkey legend, and the student jail. Private tours are especially great for families.
Most "free" walking tours in Heidelberg run on tips — so you pay anyway, often more, with no guaranteed quality or group size. Our guided city tour starts at €27 per person with a maximum of 6 guests, a local expert guide, and no tip pressure. You know exactly what you're getting.
Comfortable walking shoes are essential — the old town is cobblestone throughout. Dress for the weather; we walk rain or shine (within reason).
To lock in your spot, you only confirm with a 50% deposit via PayPal — fully refundable up to 24 hours before the tour — unlike the full advance payment most other tours demand. Once you book your slot on the calendar, the PayPal payment link is sent to you by email. The remaining 50% is paid in cash on the day of the tour. Your booking is confirmed once the deposit is received. Because slots are limited, spots are given on a first-come, first-served basis — whoever pays the deposit first secures the spot.
Cancel 24 hours or more before your tour and you get a full refund of your deposit, or a free reschedule to any other available date — your choice. Within 24 hours of the tour, or for a no-show, the deposit is non-refundable. Rescheduling is also free if you let us know at least 24 hours ahead. Full details are on our Terms & Conditions page.
